The printer appears when I open Printers, in system preferences, but i cant install it. When I select mp495 and + i get a message that the software for the printer is not available. When I try to add using selecting printer software nothing appears in the new window, i cant find the driver. I have a Canon MP495 printer that I am unable to set up wirelessly. It was given to me with no CD - I have downloaded all of the neccessary drivers and software but still cant figure it out. For days and days I have searched online and tried multiple things to set it up but nothing is working. I have a Mac 10.6.8.
